Cat Women Re-Design

I’m tired of seeing Catwomen as this chick with skin tight black cat suit. I thought it’d be fun to take her out of a “ super hero” realm, and try and turn her more into a “ high fashion” aesthetic. Oh, I was also watching the Heat game, and thought it’d be cool if she was Sponsored by Adidas ( Hence the 3 stripes).

My good Friend Umer dressed as Spiderman

After being bit by a radioactive spider, while on a trip to the Houston Zoo. A mild mannered financial analyst by the name of Umer began to develop special powers! Notably: the ability to climb walls, shoot webs, tell a perfectly timed joke, as well as exceptional call of duty skills. On the other hand his new found powers have left him crippling in fear when it comes to dogs…. Or bees… or dogs that when they bark shoot bees at you.

Our Lady Reactress

Just a character in a story i’ve been working on for quite awhile that I never seem to get close to finishing. It kind of helps me bring the story into reality by sketching out how I think the characters would look and feel. 

Primary Kicks

Inspired by the simple pleasure of seeing bright colors, and basic shapes, the Primary Kicks is a throw back to the idea that design can be fun, whimsical, comedic, and something that can put a smile on your face!

Wood Grain Woody

This is an assignment from Drawing 3: to practice our wood grain technique.

I really like cars of this era.  I don’t know much about the makes, models, and years, but I really appreciate the hand crafted touch of using woods, and the elongated organic shapes.

It sure beats the hilarious “hand vacs” we call cars today!

Nike Hard Wood Legend

From the wood of the sacred courts Michael Jordan himself played on, scared with the scuffs of his shoes, painted with the drops of his sweat.  The shoe embodies the sole of his competitive spirit.  Legend has it that in Earliest of morning, and darkest of night, you can hear the faint echo of rubber squeaking against wood, in the ever eternal dance between practice and perfection.

This was a Sketch from my Drawing 3 class.  We had to come up with a product that someone had to wear.  Naturally; I went with something basketball oriented.
